LED Lighting
LED stands for light-emitting diode. LED Lighting is energy-saving. A regular 25-watt light bulb can be replaced with an LED which uses only 3 or 4 watts of power. LED lighting is a bit more expensive but it has a longer life span than regular lighting and saves the customer money in electricity.
If you have a path or walkway that you want lit up you can get LED lighting for this. There are walk lights that you can put out or there are street lamp looking lights. This can help decorate your home and make it safer, since thefts usually stay away from well lit areas.
Hand-held LED lighting is available as a flashlight. They usually have several small light bulbs or a single bulb and shine brighter than the average flashlight. Great for use in your vehicles glove box, camping and for power outages. Also available is a power outage flashlight that plugs into your electric outlet in your home or business. If the power goes out the light will go on so you can see to obtain it and use if necessary.
LED track lighting is great to for ambiance lighting in a small room. Some of the kits can be attached together to make the track longer. You can put different colored LED bulbs together for softer lighting. Amount of lights varies on this type of lighting and the lights can be angled at different directions.
You can get under cabinet LED lighting for your kitchen or in a workshop. This can help illuminate an area that needs more light to be clearly visible. It will not get hot so you can leave it on for a long time and it's cool to the touch as well.
LED lighting is more efficient and can replace just about any other lighting that you already use and is a green saver product.
