My husband and I had to find someone to build our deck quick as our old deck had started to slump away from the house. We started our search with the Better Business Bureau and to our absolute relief we connected with Tracie at Atlanta Builders & Remodeling, Inc. We sent over some basic measurements, got a general idea of the cost and then Scott came out to go over, in detail, everything we wanted and were going to need. Tracie stayed in contact with us through the entire process which was so helpful to us. Don and his helper took down the deck VERY quickly and were back the next day to start fixing the rot on the house that came from the poorly built deck we’d had. Don pointed out some additional issues underneath the chimney (really rotten) and Scott came over to look at the issue and so we agreed to fix that as well.
After the house was fixed up they moved on to the deck. WOW WHAT A DECK! We were expecting a step up from the previous deck but this is a giant leap from the previous one! The entire deck is SO solid and the quality of construction is GREAT! I actually leaned against one of the railings! I had NEVER done that on the previous deck.
